This project uses branding to explore how acknowledging the withering process of an object or experience can empower people to grow and thrive.


Withering Flowers

Have you ever bought flowers and put them in a vase, only to notice they wither within such a short time?




Acknowledge the Natural Process

I used to feel sentimental about flowers withering so quickly. But I gradually began to find beauty in this natural process and acknowledge the solemn, poetic power of loss.

Gather Elements

To better visualize this process, I bought fresh flowers from the store and began documenting the withering process. Combined with Photoshop techniques.


Form Making
I tried solar print to visualize the form of the plants withering.


And combined with Photoshop, I created this unique, poetic visual style that reflects the concept I wanted to convey.

Logo

The logo was inspired by the withering flower's lowered head.
